I’ve decided to skip commencement, despite knowing that one day it might be a big regret, not being able to wear the graduation robes and all. But the idea of ceremonies, and 1.5 hours in hair and makeup is just so unappealing. Never felt like I slogged through the past four years and graduation’s a huge achievement. I will always miss school where 15 weeks of term only equates to 3 weeks of effort sigh.

Just came back from KL and for the next few months, I’ll stay grounded to sort out my life. Maybe Royal Carribean cruising in December.

I looked through JobsCentral this morning. And the job prospects are all so boring:S Plans indefinite now.

Back from my travels.

SAD. Now I have no excuse not to start looking for a job, I need to decide if I want to attend graduation, need to collect my degree scroll and transcript which I do not care for and need to visit the bank to pay up my school fees.

Californication.

Leaving tomorrow. Byebye Singapore. I haven’t planned much, and I believe its cause of overenthusiastic planner Carmen that I haven’t been very bothered, she’s got all grounds covered.

I’m not excited. I dread the start of this vacation as I dread the end, and the massive jobhunt that’s to come after that.

Drew this with a mouse during the last hour of work couple of days ago. Work is boring. And there’s really nothing much to do.

Dawson’s first competition.
vs 9 other border collies & 1 husky on saturday.
A rosette would make a good birthday present. But being in such fiercely competitive category, can’t expect much.

Things that matter.

Things that matter: Travel.

Things that don’t: Chinese New Year.

I’m sorry I’m still griping about Korea.

Two-dollar canvas so anyhow paint:)

Gardens.

Gardening was the rage today. We bought new potted plants, and replanted old ones to beautify Cairo’s enclosure. With the rearrangement of the patio table and chairs to the area, it’s really a gorgeous place to relax now. Think greenhouse without that much glass. Then we scoured the estate in the car for old discarded tree trunks for him to climb and scratch on to no avail.

Over the past few days, been cooking a lot also. Breaded lime chicken, fried rice, fish tacos, french onion soup and tiramisu. Major successes for the new recipes, and the old ones still taste good:) Will make more of my favorite chocolate tarts soon before school gets busy.

I’ve stopped working at the cafe since a couple of days ago. Good riddance to Kenny professing his love and washing dishes. But everyone’s been nice. It’s been a joy to work for Dave, even-tempered dude who loves animals so much he’s vegetarian.

School reopens tomorrow. Might have to practice self-discipline and say no to Korea (eight frigging days), cause one lesson’s a bitch. Actually I already did, but still harboring a glimmer of hope.
